Hubei’s straw-based eco-friendly technology upgrade project goes into operation, adding 18 million yuan in annual output value.
Recently, Hubei Wheat-Straw Environmental Technologies Co., Ltd., a provincial-level “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in niche, specialized, and innovative products, officially put into operation its technological upgrade project—a 1,000-ton-per-year eco-friendly pulp tableware facility—investing 12 million yuan. With the on-site support and services provided by the local industrial task force, the project successfully overcame key challenges such as equipment commissioning and talent recruitment. After going live, the facility will further expand its production capacity for biodegradable catering tableware, with an estimated annual increase in output value of 18 million yuan, thereby providing a more abundant green supply to meet global demand for food packaging.
